Welcoming Ian Nolan as Group Operations Director

We are delighted to formally announce that Ian Nolan has joined the Oleo Group as our new Group Operations Director, based at our Coventry headquarters.

Ian’s arrival marks a significant milestone as we accelerate our global Growth100 expansion strategy. He brings over 30 years of elite international operations, engineering, and manufacturing experience to Oleo, having led multi-site teams and managed complex operations across the UK, France, Italy, India, Sri Lanka, and Tunisia.

Throughout his career, Ian has built an impressive track record of revitalising businesses, driving major commercial turnarounds, and delivering outstanding operational improvements. His expertise spans lean manufacturing, strict quality standards (such as securing ISO and automotive certifications), and transforming safety and yield performance. Notable highlights from his career include:

• Successfully guiding a major overseas subsidiary to ISO 13485 certification while slashing operational scrap rates.
• Transforming a West Midlands manufacturing plant’s EBITDA from a -£675k loss to a +£656k profit in just two years.
• Spearheading continuous improvement (Kaizen) frameworks and advanced ERP implementations on a global scale.

In his new role, Ian will head our global operations, aligning our UK and international manufacturing footprints to support our rapid scaling and delivery goals.
