Oleo International, a global leader in safety-critical energy absorption technology for the rail, elevator, and industrial sectors, has officially announced the appointment of Zarana Gandhi as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Gandhi assumes the role at a pivotal moment, taking charge of a major international growth strategy designed to optimise the company’s global supply chain, expand into highly competitive markets, and deliver best-in-class crashworthiness solutions worldwide.
Gandhi brings a wealth of international leadership experience to Oleo International and will continue to drive the company’s market successes across India, China, and Germany. Her immediate mandate is the execution of comprehensive structural refinement aimed at driving supply chain efficiencies and positioning the business for aggressive global competition.
“I am delighted to begin my journey as CEO of Oleo International,” said Zarana Gandhi. “Over the years, I have had the privilege of working alongside talented colleagues, trusted customers, suppliers, and partners across our global business. As I step into this role, my focus is simple: listen to our customers and ensure we continue building a stronger business for the future.”
Gandhi continued: “Every day, millions of people around the world rely on infrastructure that incorporates Oleo technology. Our responsibility is not only to deliver products, but to help keep people safe. That purpose will continue to guide every decision we make. At Oleo, we operate in industries where reliability, safety, and performance matter. Whether supporting rail networks, elevators, or industrial applications, our customers rely on us to deliver solutions that perform when it matters most.”
Reflecting on operational changes across the global footprint, Gandhi noted: “Over the past months, our teams across the UK, India, China, and Germany have been working hard to improve how we serve our customers. We are strengthening our supply chain, improving operational efficiency, reducing lead times, and creating greater resilience across our global manufacturing footprint. These improvements have been designed with one objective in mind: helping our customers receive the right products, of the right quality, at the right time.
